30 days Mental health challenge

Young and More initiative is launching a 30 days mental health challenge.

What is mental health?

Mental health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make healthy choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood.

What is the problem?

In the African context, there is a lot of misunderstanding of what mental health entails and even a total disregard of issues relating to mental health. People still shy away from discussing topics like depression and anxiety even though studies are showing that these mental illnesses are on the rise, especially among young people.

How do you join the challenge?

During this period of 30 days, the subscribers to our blogs will receive daily mindfulness and wellness guides by email. These daily guides will include motivational quotes, positive confessions, suggestions on how to overcome stress and worry and sometimes detailed actions to take to improve your mental health. Please make sure you subscribe at to join us as we embark on this very important journey. Also share this information with your friends and post with the hashtag #30daysMHC.
